The Mighty Booths at the WA Police Exhibit, Perth Royal Show 2012

The Mighty Booths is very proud in being a part of the WA Police Exhibit at the Perth Royal Show 2012 where members of the public are offered the opportunity to have their photo(s) taken whilst riding the WA Police's new "Concept Motorbike". 

The versatility of The Movie Star, our green screen photo booth, have made it possible to produce fantastic photos of people riding the concept bike with a variety of virtual images used as backgrounds. The resulting photos are clearly unique and are printed on the spot for people to take home with them as souvenirs - and more importantly, are given FREE of charge!

Visit the WA Police exhibit at the Police Pavilion during the 2012 Perth Royal Show at the Claremont Showgrounds (29 September 2012 - 06 October 2012). Check out the Concept Motorbikes on display and have a go at having a photo taken too.

The exhibit has been very popular and the WA Police were awarded as the Best Perth Royal Show Exhibitor for 2012.

Stop Smoking Start Repairing Campaign

On Saturday, 02 June 2012 - Loud ( A Sydney firm) hired the Mighty Booths to provide photo booth services as part of the Quitline Campaign, Stop Smoking Start Repairing.

During the event which was held at Stirling Central Plaza, shoppers were encouraged to have their photos taken on a pre-arranged No Smoking Start Repairing template relating to the campaign.

Duxton Hotel, Bridal Open Day

"On the weekend, the Mighty Booths team were pleased to participate in the Duxton Wedding Open Day held at the Duxton Hotel in Perth.  Set up alongside numerous other exhibitors of wedding services and products, The Mighty Booths definitely made an impact and provided a number of visitors to the Open Day with free candid shots to take home.  Visitors seemed particularly impressed with the various backgrounds, themes, and templates we can provide for the photos at their events (e.g. A seaside wedding? why not 14 beautiful shell/beach backgrounds for guests to choose from and a beach theme template? You could even supply your own images to us!).  The green screen photo booth made a number of visitors interested in seeing how the technology worked, or asking numerous questions relating to backgrounds and how many their guests could select from on event night and so forth.  Meanwhile, our staff enjoyed the opportunity to take a peak at some gorgeous wedding dresses, a belly dancing show, and even a dance routine by some rather 'fit' looking male performers!

We hope to exhibit at a number of other upcoming conventions, shows, and open days in the future, and will be sure to keep you posted so you can come visit us for some quick snaps and happy memories - always more fun than a promotional flyer!"

13th Birthday

I have personally done almost a hundred events just in the last 6 months, but it was my first time to do a 13th birthday party on Saturday 25 February 2012.  I was not really sure what to expect.  Organised by Rachel (the mum), she basically left it to us to pick the backgrounds to use.

So I consulted my two daughters who are 17 and 15, who like all teenagers - seem to just stare at you when you ask them a question.  Not much help there.

However, my little one was talking about how disappointed she was that "One Direction" will not be coming to Perth.  I really do not know much about who One Direction is but it gave me an idea.

Maybe 13 year old girls like One Direction too!

Well, they certainly love them and the whole event was a huge success.

Esplanade River Suites

This blog is a little bit late, but hey – better late than never J.

On 10^th February, we had a chance of setting up our Photo Booth at a venue that we’ve never been before – the Esplanade River Suites in Como, WA.

Our feelings, whenever we are doing an event at a venue that we have never been before is always the same, a little apprehension and nervousness.

Such feelings soon disappeared when we got to the venue.  The staff of the Esplanade River Suites were fantastic!  

They have allocated the perfect spot for us – and most importantly, enough room for us to set-up the photo booth quite comfortably.

The bride and groom, Ash and Gem were a delight.  We were so happy to be a part of such celebration!
